The PMNN4409 battery comes standard with all XPR7000 series radios. Motorola has an even higher capacity 2700mAh battery (PMNN4448), but this battery gets the job done for almost every radio user. The 2150mAh capacity typically sees up to 12 hours of use in analog mode and up to 18 hours per charge in digital mode. The IMPRES smart energy system ensures maximum talk‐time and optimized battery cycle life through the use of its advanced charging technology and automatic reconditioning features. Use of this battery also ensures the XPR7000 series radios retain their IP57 submersible rating.

The PMNN4409 is the standard IMPRES battery that ships with the XPR7350 and XPR7550 MOTOTRBO portable radios. Before IMPRES technology was introduced, a lot of companies would spend several man hours, headaches, and money in reconditioning batteries manually. Motorola's IMPRES Smart Energy System keeps your batteries in peak performance and when the charger determines it's necessary, it reconditions the battery automatically just by placing it into an IMPRES charger. They can also be left on the charger for extended periods of time without damaging the battery. My customers are very IMRPESsed with life span of these batteries, which typically cut their replacement battery costs in half.

I love that Motorola put a higher capacity battery on the XPR7000 series radios. Even better, this battery fulfills the IP57 rating to allow the radio to be submersible. Being that it also has MOTOROLA's IMPRES technology gives it a better edge than other company's radios and batteries. This battery is also great that it fits on the XPR3000 series radios also. Don't settle for impostors!
