The FCC narrowbanding mandate is fast approaching. It goes into effect on January 1, 2013. If you have not already updated, you may be subject to fines by the FCC of up to $16,000 per day. In addition, it may be difficult to repair existing radio equipment or purchase new two way radio equipment as all manufacturers will be subject to the new law.
