THE HANDS-FREE CAPABLE TALKABOUT® T5500 TWO-WAY RADIO
This versatile performer allows users to talk hands-free with optional VOX accessories. A swivel belt clip allows the radio to be hooked onto clothing, backpacks or bags, and a backlit LCD display makes for easier reading in direct sunlight or dark conditions. A choice of ten Audible Call Tones grabs the attention of family and friends, and a Talk Confirmation Tone signals when the other user has stopped talking. The QT (Quiet Talk) Noise Filter offers additional noise filtering beyond the sub codes. In addition, the keypad can be locked to prevent accidental channel changing. Available in either an alkaline battery-powered model or a rechargeable NiCd battery-powered model. FCC license required.
